Vakayada is the largest city of the Haduastani state of Vakayada, with a population of 782,000 people prior to the 2023 invasion and Battle of Vakayada. Vakayada is situated on the Jandus River just before the divertion of the Alaymuna River. The city grew to regional and spiritual prominence for its positioning on the sacred river, and the city has a deep rooted past with Haduaism. The city is known for its old architecture and many palaces.

In late 2023, the city was heavily damaged as a result of the Battle of Vakayada during the ACWAC-led invasion. The Vakayada chemical attack carried out by Elastani and Barangadeshi forces drew international condemnation.
