The National Republican Party (Tethian: Partia Republikane Kombëtare; Montesurian: Pärtitä Nasiunall Ripèblicanu) is a right-wing political party in Austeria. In contemporary Austerian politics, it represents the conservative Sotirian population in the country and is one of two major parties along with its historic rival, the Kuvendi Party. It is currently the ruling party of the country, with 26 seats in the Senate of Austeria.
The National Republican Party was founded in 1994 as a merger of a several major Sotirian political parties in order to contest the 1994 general elections under Michel Avgeri. The party remained in opposition until the 2005 global financial crisis led to the party's emergence as a major political force in the elections the year after.
