The Austerian Assembly Party, commonly known as the Kuvendi Party (Tethian: Partia Kuvendi; Montesurian: Pärtitä Cuvendi), is an Irfanic political party and former political wing of the Galeneic Front in Austeria. It currently holds 20 of the 131 seats in the Austerian Senate, tied with its historical rival the National Republican Party.
The Kuvendi Party was founded on 19 April 1988 in Kartha as an umbrella political organization representing all the Irfanic militias of the Galeneic Front during the negotiations for the Morwall Agreement. It was a realisation of Nushi Canacheu's idea of a united Irfanic religious and nationalist party in Austeria. Following the implementation of the Morwall Agreement, the party contested the country's first free elections in 1994 and emerged as the largest opposition party. The party achieved considerable success in elections after the 2005 economic crisis and the decline of the Socialist Party of Austeria. The party was in government from 2010 to 2018 under the Premiership of Zana Thaçi and held the Presidency from 2014 to 2022.
The Kuvendi Party is the main driving force of Irfanic nationalism in Austeria today. The party is centered around the "mission" of Galeneism and advocating for the establishment of a federal state and for a "religious democracy" based on Irfanic thought that is democratic, tolerant, and just. The Kuvendi Party is the primary stronghold for Irfanics, especially for nationalists and conservatives, and thus they have been described as national conservative. However it has left-leaning views on fiscal and other economic issues and have also been described as social democratic. The party is directly affiliated with The Assembly, a fraternal order that is the successor to the organized armed militias of Galeneic Front. It works to further the principles of Galeneism and supports its parent party through political activities and a program of informal education with an emphasis on self-improvement and cultural awareness of Irfan. Like the rest of the militias, the group was de-armed after the Morwall Agreement, but it has been accused of violence towards political opponents and religious indoctrination.
