The VA/QR-707 Ôsperéa Sílenté ("Silent Osprey") is a stealthy, medium-to-high altitude UAV/UCAV in use with the Inyurstan Navy.

Design

An unknown series of "baked in" radar absorbent materials are used in the construction of the Ôsperéa Sílenté. When designing the drone, MSDB partnered with IEK, who had recently completed radar trials of the AC/A-92 Night Adder stealth fighter. It is assumed that the two aircraft use similar materials. The physical shape, while not as stealthy (or as large) as the Aéroforça's VA/QR-699 Condór Neige, incorporates a low-RCS elements such as a canted tail, S-shaped engine intake and limited frontal surfaces.

Powered by a turbofan engine, the exact speed of the VA/QR-707 is currently classified; however, it is estimated to be capable of purely subsonic flight. As a low-RCS aircraft, a faster speed is estimated to not be necessary in the reconnaissance role. Likewise, subsonic flight reduces the amount of heat build-up (and thus infrared signature).

It's smaller size allows it to be launched from large-sized carriers without the use of a tail hook.

The sensor suite of the Ôsperéa Sílenté is currently unknown, though due to its maritime nature it is believed to have SIGINT/ELINT capabilities as well as infrared-imaging and live color imaging.
