Dongsing (Yinese: 東城), alternatively cambranised as Dungsing is the capital of Yingok. With more than 19 million residents, Dongsing is Yingok's second largest city behind Yutzhau and the Xth largest city in the world. It is located in Namging, Southern Yingok, and is governed as a municipality by the Dongsing Municipal Congress with 17 districts. Dongsing is a megacity, with a total population of 13,532,391, an urban population of 19,218,537, and a metro population of 27,742,560. The municipality has an administrative area of 1,577.60 km2 (609.11 sq mi) although its metro area sits at about 7,329.78 km2 (2,830.04 sq mi).
Situated on the Longcheun River, Dongsing is a prominent city, having served as the capital of Yingok and its various predecessors since the Chiu Dynasty, and has thus long been a major center of culture, education, research, politics, economy, transport networks and tourism.
