Port Elizabeth
Port Elizabeth is a major city on the Northern Coast of the Blackhelm Confederacy and the capital of the province of Charvonia. The city served as the seat of government for the short lived Charvonian Republic, and is one of the most important Hesperidesian ports on the Mare Ferum. It is the third largest port in Hesperidesia, after Paradise City and Redemption, and is home to the headquarters of several major Confederate businesses.
Port Elizabeth is also a major domestic and internation tourism hub, attracting millions of visitors each year.
History
Port Elizabeth was founded by Claudius VII in 1654, and named in honor of his wife, Elizabeth of Pembroke. The decision to found the city was based on the need to open a new, dedicated port city to trade with Lorecia.
