Aeindra Inzali Sein Myat (13 April 1945; Burmese; အိန္ဒြာ ဤန္ဇလိ သိန် မျတ), commonly known as Daw Aeindra and sometimes abbreviated as Aeindra Inzali, is a female Bethausian politician who is the incumbent Prime Minister since 2013. She is the longest serving Prime Minister in the history of the country, totaling 14 years of service. She is also the incumbent General Secretary of the One Bethausia Democratic Front since its founding in 1990. She also played a vital role in Bethausia's transition from military junta to parliamentary democracy from 1995 to 1996, and a prominent leader during the Scarlet Revolution.

Aeindra Inzali was born on 13 April 1945 in Maungtabin to army general Sein Myat and politician Inzali Thant. She is the oldest sister among her three siblings. She obtained her bachelor's degree in political science from the University of South Ingzua in 1963, citing her interest originating from her mother, who was serving as Minister of Social Welfare at that time. She further pursued her education by attending Royal University of Bethausia, Sayangon, graduating with a bachelor's in Philosophy, Politics and Economics in 1966. Afterwards, she worked with the Bethausian government under the Ministry of Finance until 1968. She was also affiliated with the Liberal Democratic Party until its prohibition under the Second Union regime in 1968, even though she held disagreements with their views on federalism and economic policy.

Aeindra moved to Insomnia in August 1968, United Kingdom where she lived with family friend Win Zar Yuzana. She worked for the Federal Union Association for three years under the Food and Agriculture Institution. She then married Julian MacDougall on 1 January 1973, and bore him three children. From 1985 to 1987, she attended the University of St. Georgius as a research student in Bethausian literature to pursue a Master of Philosophy degree. During her attendance, she met the children of Albert Sagaru Caelum, and later formed a close relationship with not only them, but also Albert himself, Victoria Sahono Caelum, and Judit Valpuri Yadanar. Judit, Albert, and Victoria held admiration for Aeindra Inzali for her intelligence and political shrewdness, with the former two foreseeing her potential successful career in the Bethausian government that would lead to the reversal of Henry Louis's legacy.

Aeindra Inzali returned to Bethausia in 1988 to take care of her ailing father, which led her to become more active in the political scene with her father's urging. In 1989, along with U Ye Zar Kaung, Thurein Wai, Myint Myat, Niclas Pyae Linn Pohl and Jonathan Khaing Myint, she founded the One Bethausia Democratic Restoration Front, later renamed as the "One Bethausia Democratic Front" post-Second Union. Moreover, she became its General Secretary, a position she would retain throughout her entire political career. She partook in the demonstrations in Maungtabin in 1991, where she narrowly avoided death. She would later come into contact and establish strong relations with Isabelle Aeindra Gerstäcker, whose brother was killed in the same demonstration. In Sayangon, she was apprehended by the military on 10 April 1993 and sent to Khabein Prison, an incident which sparked the Scarlet Revolution. She further played a role in the dissolution of the Royal Junta by her participation in the Great Outcry and her negotiations with the Junta that led to the 1995 plebiscite; notably, her international reputation as a nonviolent resistor was cemented in her act in an incident dubbed by international media as "the walk that silenced the guns".

On 20 August 1995, Aeindra Inzali was appointed by William Edwardius II as Prime Minister of the Transitional Government for the Third Royal Union. She participated in drafting the 1996 constitution that formally democratized the state, although the Tatmadaw retained political authority in the Assembly and the Ministries of Defense and the Interior. In a 2017 interview, she stated that she "regretted that she could have done more to ensure their exclusivity in politics," however, she nevertheless exerted effort to ensure the military's eventual expulsion from the political scene. Her tenure as Prime Minister of Bethausia proved a significant compensation, whereupon she cut defense spending by 25%, invested in infrastructure, education, and agriculture, incentivized more foreign investment, and oversaw the end of the country's occupation of Kyachindwin and Lhossa. After the conclusion of her first tenure, Aeindra Inzali was elected twice as member of the Bethausian House of Nationalities representing the South Ingzua constituency in the 2001 and 2007 general elections. During U Ye Zar Kaung's term as prime minister, she was appointed Minister of Education, and improved the quality of education by 13.5%, a statistic that led to Bethausia to retain the third highest literacy rate in Asianna. She later replaced Myat Hein Kyaw as Prime Minister due to the latter's resignation over corruption. Aeindra Inzali solidified a strong working relationship with William Edwardius III, even going as far as to act as his advisor and mentor, a prediction of Judit and Albert fulfilled. She continued to serve in the office during and after the FUA Crisis, and fulfilled her mutual desire with the king to abolish the Tatmadaw's political power after Bethausia's liberation.

Aeindra Inzali Sein Myat remains one of the most, if not the most, popular prime ministers of the nation, and is lauded as a symbol and icon of freedom and liberal Bethausia by both national and international audiences. She also continues to be regarded as a highly respected political figure internationally; Ignis Stupeo Scientia, the incumbent Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, cites her as an inspiration for his political career, and Albert applauded her as a fulfillment of Judit's wishes for a free and liberal Bethausia.

Early life

Aeindra Inzali was born in Maungtabin, Bethausia on 13 April 1945. Her parents were Sein Myat, a general in the Free Bethausian Army of the East and the Tatmadaw, and Inzali Thant, a farmer who became a prominent politician. She has two brothers, Phyo Tun Sein Myat (elder) and Ko Sein Myat (younger); and one sister Haymar Inzali Sein Myat.

She grew up in their compound near Yesakto Lake, recently settled by their parents after the Liberation of Bethausia, and met people of various backgrounds, religions, and political standings. After her home schooling, she was educated at the Salingshwe Catholic School, where she was noted for her talent in learning languages. She is able to speak six languages upon age 35: Burmese, English, German, Aasialain, Quenminese, and Joyonghea. When she was in Grade 10, her town was affected by the 1959 race riots and she helped a fleeing German Bethausian young adult male and future colleague Marius Maung Gerstäcker with her friends, narrowly escaping the local Barma mob. Her experiences during the riots solidified her positive views on and advocacy for multiculturalism and racial equality.

In the later years of high school, her mother's prominence in politics grew and she witnessed her inauguration as Minister of Social Welfare. Aeindra later credited her mother's profession and reputation as inspiration to seek a political career. In 1963, she obtained her BA degree in Political Science from the University of South Ingzua, then in 1966, with her mother's encouragement, she obtained her second BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the Royal University of Bethausia, Sayangon. During her attendance at Sayangon, she met her future husband Julian MacDougall, who was an exchange student at that time interested in Bethausian literature, and they attended the same Toastmasters club and continued to exchange love letters after their physical separation. After graduating, she worked for the Bethausian government under the Ministry of Finance until days after the declaration of the Second Union in 1968. She also became affiliated with the Liberal Democratic Party until its prohibition due to the 1968 constitution, despite disagreeing with their views on federalism and economic policy.

Aeindra then moved to Insomnia, Lucis where she lived with family friend Win Zar Yuzana, who held anti-Wunnakanist sentiments. She worked for the Federal Union Association by primarily working on research on improving agriculture sectors in developing countries. She later married MacDougall on 1 January 1973, and bore him three children from 1974 to 1981. In 1985, Aeindra Inzali attended the University of St. Georgius as a research student in Bethausian literature, and obtained her Master of Philosophy degree in 1987. During her attendance, she met several children of Albert Sagaru Caelum, the incumbent Duke of Caernarvon. Aeindra formed a strong friendship with them. She later met Albert Sagaru after accidentally bumping into him, who in turn introduced her to Judit Valpuri Yadanar and Victoria Sahono Caelum. Aeindra Inzali frequently came to their home, and discuss politics; she also was given advice by them for her future career. Albert, Victoria and Judit held steadfast and authentic admiration for Aeindra Inzali for her tact and intelligence, to the point where Albert and Judit foresaw her successful political career that will lead to Bethausia dismantling the legacy of Henry Louis.

In a 1990 interview, Judit gave this remark:

That lady is a refined and righteous fighter. She’ll be among the finest rubies in a crown that will heal our country from my son’s misdeeds

For Albert, he had this to say:

I’ve never seen a finer future prime minister than her. My father indeed would include her in his cabinet if he were still living. God willing, I pray that my grand-nephew will work with her in the future
