The Abolition of the Northern Assembly Bill was a proposed Act of Parliament intended to abolish the Northern assembly. The bill was defeated in its first reading, sparking internal strife within the Governing Coalition and the Liberal Conservative Party, resulting in the resignation of Prime Minister Philip Campbell. The successive Prime Minister, Henry Nugent, later proposed and passed an altered version of the bill after the 2024 Delamarian General Election, which retained the northern assembly, while reforming the role of state governments.
