The Fourth Federate Union, officially the Union of Federated States, was a federal semi-presidential republic dominated by General Sovereign Milan Badu. After seizing control in the 1974 Federate coup d'état, Badu dissolved the Third Federate Union and established effectively a dictatorship.
The country invaded Gasraria in 1974, prompting the Federate-Gasarian War.
Tasian nationalism played a significant role in politics. The sole official language was Tasian.
