The Development and Justice Party (Turkish: Kalkınma ve Adalet Partisi|Kamilistani: Kalkınma Zan Aďahsäkar Partije) or the DJP is a political party in Kamilistan

Overview

The party was founded by Selim Bakkal and [[Kadri Kaynarca]] in 2010 as the Future Development Party. Under Selim's leadership, the party was meant to represent the working class of Kamilistan, as well as advocate on reforming the political system both in the parliament and the entire constitution itself. The party was also one of the first parties willingly to settle down for a peace agreement with the NKFA rebels (formerly the KFA by that time) that were still armed in the Western Regions.

The party membership was majority Turkish, with a few Georgian and Chechen minorities representing the party together. The party member was split between two different goals for the future of the party. On one hand, there were members who were supporting the current objective of progression and the reformation of the constitution and political system while on the other hand, conservative members that felt that their recognition and identity waere't recognised and valuesdtraditions and ethnic pride. This caused the party having an internal conflict between the two sides, with Selim and Kadri together on one end and Yavuzsoy Aktas and Ufuk Sarigül on the other. Kadri begin to threaten members and represents ive sof the parliament during that time that they will lose their membership if they were to side with the conservatives, which backfired as half of the current members and party representative sin the parliament had stated their support for Yavuzsoy ideas, with one of them stating that "Kadri has a fragile ego.". On one occasion, one of Kadri's supporters was seen live launch themselves onto former member of parliament Baris Yurgäl and beatehim with a hammer, injuring Baris left eye and fracturing his nose. This caused widespread criticism against Kadri for "inciting violence for different ideas of members". A few more attack were followed by his supporters against a few more members of parliament, including Ufuk himself as well.

An attempted assassination was made on Yavuzsoy, which occurred on November 6, 2021, on his home at Gisra. The assailants, both holding Glocks were seen following Yavuzsoy Audi, once Yavuzsoy was driving onto his driveway of his home, the assailants opened fired at the car but missed Yavuzsoy as they quickly sped off. By that point, Baris Yurgäl, Mehmet Basravköv Adgīl and Muhammed Abdullah Adgär Safüryalidov were sacked by Selim, with the murder of Baris, his brother, Emin Yurgäl and brother in law Cahan Nashamir Al-Safur in a drive-by shooting. Abdullah Adgär would be brought back into the party while Basravköv was suffering from a stab wound.
