The National Navy of Notreceau (Notreceauen: Marine Nationale du Notreceau) is the maritime component of the national military of Notreceau. Establish in 1621, the National Navy is the second oldest standing force in the Notreceauen military after the National Army of Notreceau. The primary objective of the National Navy is to "maintain strategic and tactical superiority at sea in all theaters and areas of interest of Notreceau." Service in the National Navy of Notreceau qualifies veterans to run for office within the Directorate (see: politics of Notreceau).
The current chief of staff of the National Navy is Maxime Sault.
Sailors in the National Marine enlist for 5 year terms of service, after which they are held in reserve for five years. As of July 2024 the National Navy of Notreceau employs [insert] active duty and [insert] reservists personnel.
