President of Vistulzka

The president of Vistulzka (not completed) is the head of state of the Orthodox Republic of Vistulzka and shares power as the head of government, the Marshal of Vistulzka which is appointed by the president during the election. The president is the peniultimate director of the federal government as well as the Ducal Council and the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Vistulzka. Since the establishment of the Orthodox Republic, the powers and functions of the president have intermingled with the Marshal of Vistulzka. Since the Congress of Welnica, the president has often taken a more ceremonial position within the government, giving power to the Marshal and the Ducal Council.

The president is elected to a four-year term, alongside the marshal and the head of the Ducal Council. There are no limits to how many presidential terms one elector can be elected, but no person has ever been elected to a third term in-office. Orthodox Republican Józef Kamiński is the 56th and current president, having assumed office on August 15, 2020.
