Sydarokouska is a Region of Greater Normark that lies in the northern centre of the country. The capital and largest city is the mining city Alpesjärvi, that with a population of 53,000 having almost 60% of the entire region's population. Other cities and towns of note in the region are the silver mining town of Silbavárri and the cultural vapmi centre of Gardivarri.
