Varfolomiy Kovalenko (Karpatskan: Варфоломій Коваленко; 17 June 18XX – 24 August 1927), better known as Bartholomew Kovalenko, was a Viswe-Karpatskan philosopher, political theorist, politician and later revolutionary. Initially a professor at the University of Vistulzka-Wełnica, he met several other members of the growing Orthodox Republican Party. He played a pivotal role in the Vistulzkan Civil War. He served as the first President of Vistulzka from 1920 until 1924, where he peacefully transferred power to the elected Zoltán Medgyessy. Kovalenko's ideology has been termed as Kovalenkism, though it is considered to be a subset political ideology of traditional Orthodox Republicanism.
