The Menl'ar-class yacht, also called the Menzir star yacht, is a luxury yacht and starliner designed and introduced by the Menzirian Menl'l Starworks company based on Cririny. The massive ships are used as cruise vessels throughout the galaxy, as well as private yachts for the rich and powerful. Most of these ships are custom ordered by their owners. The ships are known for their lucrative passenger experience.

General characteristics

The first space seen after boarding the vessel is the Promenade, a grand hall that exhibits many fine exports from worlds throughout the galaxy. The richly decorated interiors and halls tend to be fitted with elaborate wood or stonework. The upper section of the ship serves primarily to host the ship's owner and includes several suites to house personal guests.

For the benefit of those who book passage aboard the ships, from politicians to wealthy travelers, the Menl'ar yachts are home to many amenities, such as wellness suites, zero-G hydro spas, staterooms, banquet halls, a cantina, a library, and a casino. No matter where one's cabin was situated, these sections were open to all. Many of these rooms are fitted with windows that allow visitors to marvel at the beauty of overspace during jumps. Elsewhere in the upper section of the yacht are the main bridge, officers' quarters, escape pods, kitchens, and the main entrance located at the aft of the ship. In addition to the crew, the ship is staffed by numerous service androids to be called upon by travelers.

The upper section of the ship is also the location of various engineering stations, which are found at the aft and directly underneath the ship's main entrance ramp. A second boarding ramp can be extended directly to these systems, near the motors and reactor shaft.
