The Navish Superliga, commonly known as Superliga or simpy NSL, is a Navish professional league for men's association football clubs. The league is Navack's primary domestic football competition, located at the top of the football league system. The league hosts 20 clubs and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the bottom three teams each season being relegated to KONET Liga B. It is through Superliga that Navish teams are selected to the Champions Cup, and the Asuran League (including the champion of the Navish Cup).
Due to the Republican Revolution of 1921, football in Navack started off late when compared to the Midrasian and Newreyan leagues. The official first season was played in 1925, with only teams established prior to 1920 allowed. The league was initially known as the Whalberg's Football League of Navack and only 7 teams played its first edition. In 1926, 3 more teams were allowed into the league after paying a high registration fee to the NFF. In 1932, due to sponsoring complications and new expansion teams, the league became too expensive, having to be split in two: Eliteliga and Andreliga. The EL sponsor managed to finance and support a 14 teams league, whereas AL supported only 8 teams. Each champion played against each other in the Navis Super cuP, a new competition. The format lasted until 1957, when AL’s sponsor went bankrupt. In the meantime, only Aanvobar SK was added to EL. In 1957, a fusion occured between the AL and EL, giving birth to the Navish Superliga.
The NSL is, according to FFA's domestic league coefficient, one of the most dominating domestic competition in Aeia, facing a considerable competition from the Midrasian Liga Premiére. Unlike other domestic leagues, the Superliga is considered one of the most balanced with a considerable number of teams winning the trophy. Navish teams dominate the Asuran League, with Lhedvin FK as the latest champion. Navish teams are yet to win a Champions Cup, though both Bersk SK and Dynamesk SK have reached the finals.
