The ½ cent piece was a silver then bronze coin of the Qik, the currency of Themiclesia. After decimalization in 1952, the ½ cent piece was the successor to the 2 qu piece. Weighing just 1.27 g of 500 silver and with a diameter of 13.25 mm, it was the lightest and smallest silver coin in circulation.
