Angvar (/ˈɑːŋˌvɑːr/, /ˈæ-/; Angvarian: Ongvótar, [ɔːŋ'vɒtɑːr]; Nemedian: Eisenheim, [aɪseːn'haɪm̩]), officially the Imperial State of the Crown of Angvar (Pórandor-búbhosh Durbûzg Ongvátar; Kaisertum der Krone des Eisenheims) is a sovereign state primarily comprising the mainland of the Cimmerian continent, its adjacent subcontinents of Acheron and Boreania, numerous islands in the Atlantean and Lemurian oceans, as well as several overseas territories and associated states. At an area of 36,998,750 square kilometres (14,285,300 square miles), it is the largest country in the world. Bounded to the north by the Boreal Sea, to the south by the Obrisian Sea, to the west by the Maulland Sea and to the east by the Sea of Kippon, Angvar borders Draconia and the Ostenian Realm to the west, Sylvania to the southwest, Varkania to the south and Seria to the east, while sharing maritime borders with the North Sea Realm, Obristan, and Kippon in the west, south and far east, respectively. Via its overseas holdings, Angvar borders the Ankin-Fúbù Union, Liuzhi and Jianqing, the latter by way of the International Legation Zones in Seria; Baqet, Ngubu, Lozi-Vulu, Kikivu and the Haziri Kingdom in Mauria; New Zancora and Pregonia in Central Brenonnica, and New Tilgard, Dunfork and Grame in Upper Brenonnica. In addition to its 153 governorates, 40 of which are overseas governorates, 18 internal as well as external territories, and one capital district, there are two associated states, namely: Gaietia and Lower Totenheim. With a population of 1,003,366,201, it is the second-most populous country in the world. Its capital and largest city, Mordegard, is approximately 1,065 kilometres (661.8 miles) inland area, harboring a growing population of 442.5 million residents; the majority of which reside in the Greater Mordegard Area. Other major urban areas include Valenborg, its major shipwrighting center; Balzhed, Drestholm and Altfurt.
