The Aquitaynian Hockey League is a professional ice hockey league in Aquitayne comprised of 24 teams. The Penington Cup, one of the oldest trophies in Aquitaynian sports, is awarded annually to the league playoff champion at the end of each season. The AHL is one of the major sports leagues in Aquitayne, and is considered to be one of the top ranked professional ice hockey leagues in Astyria.
