Biryn Taal is a hill in northwest Earent. Its summit, 296 m (971 ft) in height, is the highest point in Earent. The hill is covered in forest and has three tops: Biryn Taal, Biryn Taal East Top and Biryn Taal Northeast Top. It is an easy ascent and a popular area for walkers. There are observation towers located on the main and east tops that afford views over much of northern Earent and the hills of southeast Haguenau. The views are much more expansive to the south and east, as the hills in the Haguenauvian side of the border are taller than those in Earent.
