Christopher Ulpius, 19th Duke of Vindobona CE CSF ESM SPO (Flavius Ulpius Saunio Christopher Iustin; 22 April 1962 - 19 July 2016) commonly known as Duke Christopher, was a Latin billionaire, landowner, peer, and businessman. He was the oldest child of John Ulpius, 18th Duke of Vindobona and Antonia Breaca. The Duke served as CEO of ULBanco from 1998 to 2016, while holding a seat on the corporations board from father's death in 1994 until his own in 2016. Prior to his succession, he was styled Marchis Volaterrae. He was married to Maria Tarpeia, Countess of Rutupiae, former Latin Consul, and held the unofficial title of Spouse of the Consul of Latium from 2013 until 2016. He was murdered on 19 July 2016 when leaving the National Coliseum in Castellum after the final race and ceremonies of the 2016 Ludi Hippodromus.

The Duke was educated at Castellum College, with a concentration in business and economics, and graduated from the School of Economics with an Ph.M in Analytics.

Education

Ulpius was born as Marquis Volaterrae on 22 April 1962 at his ancestral family home, the Domus Ulpii, in Vindobona, Ulpiana to John, 19th Duke and Lady Antonia of Olite. He was educated at Castellum College and the School of Economics, graduating with a Ph.M in Analytics. He had 2 younger brothers, Leo and Jordan; and 1 older sister, Anna.

Marriage & Family

He married Maria Tarpeia, Countess of Rutupiae, niece of Diana Augusta, in 1987.
