Curt Marchand is a Zamastanian attorney who serves as the District Attorney for Tofino. Marchand has served both in government and private practice. He was an assistant federal attorney, a provincial attorney in Zian, assistant attorney general for the Criminal Division, and a homicide prosecutor. He is most notable for his prosecution of Francis Bessette in the Barismont scandal, in which he uncovered that Bessette had paid a hush money settlement to four aides of then-candidate Atticus Moreau during his 2020 presidential campaign and had attempted to blackmail a judge during the Moreau administration to drop pending charges against Robert Berecraft, which constituted obstruction of justice.
