Fergus Racing is a Drevstranese Gridiron founded in 1947 when the Gridiron branch of the Fergus Athletic Sports Club decided to become professionals, something forbidden by the club' charter. Since the 1960s, The Gothic Warriors have reached the highest level of Drevstranese Gridiron and is the third most titled team after Nyugrataj GFC and Halvar Omnisport. Since 2010, they've reached the final of the ND1, the highest-level Gridiron football in Drevstran, three times and won the Bretnian Shield three times: in 2011, 2019, 2020, and 2023.

History

Team Name

The denomination of Racing come from their past as an Omnisport club, their nickname of "Gothic Warriors" come from their geographic origin. The town of Fergus is located in the south-east of Drevstran, in a region that continued to speak a Gothic language for centuries after the arrival of the Ludic people and even after the Lushyods. This Gothic culture remain lively in Fergus, helped by the proximity with Brumen which is only two hours away by car, even if the language is now extinct.
