Gaamamaa, officially Gaamamaa County, is a county in the Obets United Republic characterized by its flat tundra and desolate mountains. Gaamamaa borders Alatnamaa to the west, Tavastia to the southwest, Ekenas to the south, and the Belarusian Republic to the east. Gaamamaa is the northernmost and easternmost county in the Obets United Republic, and holds the second least amount of people. Hameena, the only city, is along the Kuámehda Inlet in the tundra covering the coast of Gaamamaa. Ikávi National Park protects the towering mountains in the east of Gaamamaa that make the eObet border with Gaamamaa, while the Noatak National Preserve in both Gaamamaa and some of Alatnamaa covers parts of the tundra.
