Ima Delaciănu ("Delacian Hymn"), is the national anthem of Delacia. The lyrics were written in 1983 by Delacian poet Petro Ramíres, which were written to a song composed by Markus Leion. The anthem was adopted in 1984, a year after a revolution which overthrew Delacia's previous communist government. In the year between the revolution and the adoption of Ima Delaciănu, the previous anthem, Marşa deu Gloria, was played without words, as the lyrics seemed unfit for use in the new democratic republic.

Lyrics

Delacian Mercanti

Nu çua Delaciă,
o terr deu oir i aurbos.
Nu patra amatu,
ki mian pira sagelu

A coatur i gau nu peservi
siu nos gata conça difa
Corda nu latu ca una
can nu bandiera ondeiu!

Verde boskas deu aurbos,
oir deu ara brilanta,
i naiva montenas,
sun nu çua Delaciă!

Our home Delacia,
o land of shores and trees.
Our beloved fatherland
who stood for centuries

Through strife and war we persevere
as our people build again.
Our hearts beat as one
as our flag ever flies!

Green forests of trees,
shores of glistening sand,
and snow-capped mountains,
are our home Delacia!
