The Invasion of Sparta was a military campaign undertaken by the United States of Sera between July 21st and July 27th against the Empire of Sparta Eternal.

Background

In early July of 2021 Emperor Aeneas Olympias ascended to the throne of Sparta Eternal and began to secure the borders against perceived aggressors by reinforcing the Spartan military presence along the borders shared with Unified Sera. At the beginning, the Seran government perceived no tangible, imminent threat posed by the Spartan government. This quickly changed when Spartan military aircraft repeatedly attempted to encroach upon Seran airspace in the middle of July of the same year. The Seran military responded in kind by reinforcing its own borders and raising the National Defense Preparedness Level from a level 5 to a level 3 and prepared aircraft and military personnel by moving them to the largest eastern military base Fort Sanoure.
