The Kossmilian war, also known as the Kossmilian Civil War, was an multi-party Civil war in the former Kingdom of Kossmil that fought from 20 February 1960 until 27 December 2020, the war was sparked by overthrowing of the monarchy and the interim government's failure to maintain stability, which caused an power vacuum as many factions within the falling nation start fighting each other to determine Kossmil future on the world stage. The civil war official started when the Leniya Union launched two offensive assault against the People Republic of Vorotov and the Dabatta Republic.

The Kossmilian monarchy had been overthrown by the Assembly on 3 October 1930 after years of economy mismanagement. A provisional government was created after new constitution was created by the assembly on 6 March 1932, which is led by Nikolai Semyonov as Prime Minister while creating the new constitution there was power vacuum after the Royal Family was exiled, different groups were formed across the nation are now trying to take over cities and regions, it was hard for the army to bring statubliy because it either they were underequip or parts of army defected to different groups or to bandits. Most of the northern orinagal Army which represent the Assembly stayed loyal kept the capital of Dabatta and it northern region under control while keeping it key resource assets which is the ports in northern coast of the nation.
