Leona Carol Velázquez (née Walker; born September 1964) is an American former nurse and rancher. She is the maternal aunt of Drake Walker, Duke of Valtoria and Savannah Beaumont, Duchess of Ramsford, the sister of Bianca Walker and the sister-in-law of the late Jackson Walker.
Personal life and marriage
Leona was born Leona Carol Walker in September 1964. She has a younger sister, Bianca Walker. 16-year-old Leona married in 1981 to her high school sweetheart Jorge Gascón Hernández (b. 1962), a first generation American whose parents came from Chihuahua, Mexico.[3] She has three adult sons: Ricardo (b. 1982), Tyler (b. 1985) and Kevin (b. 1989). Walker received an associate's degree from Collin College. She divorced Hernandez in 2000.[2] She has 3 grandchildren. Speculation about the Walker family came public in 2021 after Walker's nephew and niece, Drake and Savannah, married Cordonian nobility. Walker has lived a private life and when contacted in 2021, she declined to answer questions. She currently lives on the Walker Ranch in McKinney, Texas. In 2023 she married Manuel Velázquez (b. 1963) in a private ceremony.
