Drake Mitchell Walker, Duke of Valtoria RGC (born 18 August 1989), is a Cordonian-American former disc jockey and political advisor. He is the husband of Vanessa Walker, Duchess of Valtoria and is an advisor to King Liam of Cordonia as a member of the King's Royal Council. He is a close family friend of the House of Ryan as the best friend and confidant of Liam. He grew up with the King and his brother Prince Leonardo, Duke of Moselle, as his father Jackson Walker was a member of the King's Royal Guard. Walker is frequently seen with the King and close group of friends in both a official and private capacity.
The Duke and Duchess welcomed a baby girl, Lady Jacqueline Walker, in May 2022.
Biography
The Duke of Valtoria was born as Drake Mitchell Walker on 18 August 1989 at the Alzette Community Hospital (German: Gemeinschaftskrankenhaus Alzette) in the city of Alzette, in the duchy of Lythikos, Cordonia. He is the son of Lythikos native and King's Royal Guard member Jackson Walker and American-born Bianca Walker, a farmer from Texas. He was born in Lythikos while his parents were at their vacation home outside Alzette but was intended to be born in their home city, Cordonian C. D. Walker was raised in the capital as his father was a bodyguard for the Cordonian royal family and travelled extensively with his father and mother. Though raised in Cordonia, him and his family would spend time at the Walker Ranch each summer outside McKinney, Texas, his maternal ancestral home. He was born a dual citizen of both Cordonia and the United States. He is the older brother of Savannah Walker, who was born in Texas. He is the uncle of Lord Bartie Beaumont and brother-in-law of Bertrand Beaumont, 10th Duke of Ramsford.
As a child, he spent his time in the Cordonian Royal Palace and first became acquainted and later best friends with then Prince Liam and Lord Maxwell Beaumont. The Ryan and Walker families were close and would occasionally spend holidays together. He attended the same primary school as Prince Liam and Lord Beaumont but later attended separate schools during secondary education. Walker and Prince Liam later became distant after Liam attended post-secondary education in Paris and Walker went to Texas. After the 2008 assassination attempt of the Cordonian royal family, Walker relocated back to Cordonia to reconnect with Liam. Walker's father, Jackson, died protecting the royal family which took a toll on his mental health and he reportedly checked himself into a local mental hospital two months after the attack. Since then, he has been working for the Palace and did side jobs as a disc jockey.
He first met his future wife, waitress Vanessa Lopes, while on vacation in New York City during Prince Liam's unofficial bachelor party. According to The Royal Romance written by Lord Beaumont, Walker admitted to him and Tarqid Al Saadi that he instantly liked Lopes.
