'''Liora Shapiro''' ({{wp|Hebrew|Yebru}}: ליאורה שפירא) is currently the Leader of the Opposition within the [[Knesset of Tikva|Knesset]] and the leader of Avoda. She is the youngest member in the chamber, having only joined 4 years ago. Shapiro has quickly climbed the ladder into leadership after Aron Leverson, her predecessor, failed to beat Lasker's coalition in the snap 2018 election. Liora is a breath of fresh air for a country going through a tremendous amount of change while tensions in the Samarran Valley is only getting worse. Many on both sides of the political spectrum believe she will one day become Prime Minister.

With her clear governing majority, through the Katzist List, she intends to bring Tikva back to its leftist and secular roots; bringing the State into a new egalitarian future, even in the face of hardened opposition by the religious right.

Shapiro first entered politics after a wave of corruption scandals rocked the Herut Party and ran on a platform of bringing tighter transparency over the Government's activities. These scandals occurred at an inflection point in Tikva's history where there are record inequities after the newest generation of Tikvans and the Government's interest in only pandering to far-right, extremist elements who are demanding further Juddish settlement and outright annexation in the Samarran Valley.

Liora Shapiro (Yebru: ליאורה שפירא) is Prime Minister of Tikva and leader of the Katzist List, a coalition of left-leaning political parties that currently govern the country. She is the youngest individual to ever lead the country and now second-youngest in the Knesset, with Sara Levine of the right-wing party, Tzomet. Prior to becoming Prime Minister, she was the leader of the Opposition after Aron Leverson, her predecessor, failed to beat Lasker's coalition in the snap 2018 election.

Shapiro initially ran for office when the Government was making policy decisions that were systematically attacking the nation's secular majority in favor of the minority, far-right extremist elements of its voter base -- those who have for decades, called for the outright annexation of the Samarran Valley. Her platform was centered around combating corruption and increasing transparency over the government's activities.

With her clear governing majority, through the Katzist List, she intends to bring Tikva back to its leftist and secular roots; bringing the State into a new egalitarian future, even in the face of hardened opposition by the religious right.
