Parunoguma is a district in Rwizikuru, which as of the 2011 census is the most populous district in the country, with 5.7 million inhabitants living in the district. It is home to the largest city of Rwizikuru, Port Fitzhubert, which serves as the district seat. It is bordered to the west by Zvakawanda, to the northwest by Dzakakwirira, to the north by Sangoguru kumaodzanyemba, to the east by Chekumabvazuva, and to the south by the Maccan Sea.
