Pers traces its history back to the second century BCE, when it was established alongside Thy Lucc, with Pers being used to refer exclusively for the non-government locations of the city. Established as Zebedize. Both Pers and Thy Lucc were historical capitals and centers of power in Dhabovozuigi from the third century BCE to the Fifteen century CE when it became a major provincial center in the Aguda Empire, and its 2nd most important city. During the 10th century CE, the city became majority Kachai. The city retained its status during the colonial period, being used as a key transportation hub. On October 3rd, 1941 Pers became the capital of the Republic of Lavana, remaining as capital under socialist control during the civil war until becoming the capital of the People's Republic of Lavana on June 3rd, 1960. The city saw significant fighting during the 2022 Lavana coup d'état.
