The Port Walshingham Rifles is an infantry regiment of the Vionna-Frankenlischian Imperial Army formed in 1984. Recruiting from Port Walshingham, the capital of the Imperial colony of Owaya, the regiment consists of a single full-strength battalion and is one of several units permanantly placed on the Colonial Service list. Alongside the three battalions of the Owaya Regiment, the Port Walshingham Rifles makes up the native portion of the Imperial garrison on Owaya. Neither the Port Walshingham Rifles or the Owaya Regiment are part of the local Owaya Defence Force. Currently, the Port Walshingham Rifles are attached to the 29th Rifle Brigade.
