The Social Democratic and Co-operative Party (Swedish language: Socialdemokratiska och Kooperativa Partiet) is a centre-left political party in Svaldheim which espouses social democracy and Cooperative, and is generally agreed to have a progressivism and social liberalism outlook. Since 2011 the party has been led by Klara Malström, who has also served as Chancellor of Svaldheim since 2014. The SKP has been the main governing party or official opposition since 1916.
The Social Democratic and Co-operative Party (Anglish: Felloƿ Democratick and Sameƿork Mootband, Jèrriais: Parti socialiste-démocratique et co-opéthâtique) is a centre-left political party in Estmere which espouses social democracy and Cooperative, and is generally agreed to have a progressivism and social liberalism outlook. Alongside the Sotirian Democratic Union and the Reform Party, the SDCP is considered one of Estmere's three major parties.

The party was founded on May Day in 1878 as the Socialist Section in Svaldheim, before merging with the Svaldish Co-operative Party and adopting the party's current name in 1896. The party first ran candidates for the the Alting of Imperial Hallania, initially in loose electoral alliance with the Cadets. In the 1908 election, the SKP won all but five of the Svaldish seats, exacerbating parliamentary gridlock. At the outbreak of the Continental War, the SKP was initially supportive, but moved to an anti-war stance when it had become clear that the Dreibund had gained the upper hand in the fighting. During the following Hallanic Wars, the SKP backed the nascent Republic of Svaldheim, with Hjalmar Bergman acting as the first President and Chancellor.
Founded on May Day in 1881, the party is the oldest continuing party in Estmere. It was created with the aim of representing the trade union movement and co-operative movement movements and municipal socialism; in doing so, it effectively subsumed the ILC and the CRP. At the outbreak of the Great War, the SDCP was initially opposed, but moved to a pro-war stance when Rafael Duclerque rebuked the notion of a cease-fire. The SDCP joined a national coalition for the duration of the war, and after the eventual defeat of Gaullica was an influential voice in the Transitional Authority.

As Chancellor, Bergman was succeeded by a number of SKP Chancellors; Rune Petersson and Tom Sörensen in the 1920s, Ludvig Bruun in the 1930s, Kurt Bruun from 1945 to 1960, Lucas Ekman in 1961, Carl Akerström from 1961 to 1969, Eva Solberg in the 1970s and 1980s, Leon Eriksson and Julian Heidenstam in the 1990s and 2000s, and Klara Malström from 2014. Given their length of time at the helm of the country, the SKP are considered the dominant party in Svaldheim.
In the aftermath of the Great War, the SDCP overtook the liberals to become the second largest party, leading a number of governments in this time. The party was overtaken by the resurgent Reform Party in the 1980s, and supported a Reform-led government in the 2000s. Recently, the SDCP has again overtaken Reform as the second largest party.

The SKP is a founding member of Social Democracy in Hallania and the Progressive International, and in 2019 had a membership of 109,000.
The SDCP is a founding member of Socialist Alternative for Euclea and the International Socialist Forum, and in 2019 had a membership of 489,000. Since 2016 the party has been led by Anna Bailey, considered to be on the soft left of the party, who also serves as Leader of the Opposition.

The Social Democratic and Co-operative Party (Swathish: Felloƿ Democratick and Sameƿork Mootband, Flurian: Parti socialiste-démocratique et co-opéthâtique) is a centre-left political party in Estmere which espouses social democracy and co-operatism, and is generally agreed to have a progressive and socially liberal outlook. Alongside the Sotirian Democratic Union and the Reform Party, the SDCP is considered one of Estmere's three major parties.

Founded on May Day in 1881, the party is the oldest continuing party in Estmere. It was created with the aim of representing the trade union and co-operative movements and municipal socialists; in doing so, it effectively subsumed the ILC and the CRP.

The SDCP is a founding member of Socialist Alternative for Euclea and the International Socialist Forum, and in 2019 had a membership of 489,000. Since 2016 the party has been led by Anna Bailey, considered to be on the soft left of the party, who also serves as Leader of the Opposition.
