The Royal Matlock Rifles is an infantry regiment of the Imperial Vionna-Frankenlischian Army. Formed in 1878, the regiment is recruited from the city of Matlock in the Duchy of Teutonberg, and the surrounding region, and consists of two full-strength battalions and a reserve battalion.

History

Current Structure

As of July 2022, the Royal Matlock Rifles consists of three battalions. 1st and 2nd Battalions are regular service units at full-strength. 3rd Battalion is a Reserve List battalion on 1/5th strength. This makes for a total strength of 2,200 troops.

Commanded by Colonel , 1st Battalion is based in Marienberg. A Company of 1st Battalion is based in Owaya and is part of 29th Rifle Brigade.
