The Talon-2 is a third-generation Zamastanian main battle tank. Conceived for modern armored ground warfare and now one of the heaviest tanks in service at nearly 68 short tons (62 metric tons), it introduced several modern technologies to Zamastanian armored forces, including a multifuel turbine engine, sophisticated composite armor, a computer fire control system, separate ammunition storage in a blowout compartment, and NBC protection for crew safety. The Talon-2 entered service in 1983 and serves as the main battle tank of the Zamastanian Army, and most WEDA nations.
