Tasa Vyrje (born 6 March 1963) is a Gylian writer, screenwriter, editor, and sex columnist. She is one of Gylias' most successful authors of erotica, where she is famed for her ability to fuse "the heartfelt and the horny", according to Gylias Review. Her screenwriting career includes extensive credits in the nénédie genre, Good Time Gals (1997–2000), and video games like Dragon's Crown (2013).
Early life
Tasa was born on 6 March 1963 in Mişeyáke. Her father worked as a camera operator for Gylian Television, and her mother as an elevator attendant. She described her childhood as one oriented towards artistic pursuits.
She studied history at the University of Mişeyáke, completing a bachelor's degree in 1985.
After finishing university, she began working as an assistant for a television studio manager. She kept it as a day job even as her writing career took off, and only transitioned to writing full-time later.
Career
Tasa began writing erotica while in university. She submitted her first short stories to local magazines under a pseudonym.
Her first novel was published in 1993, under her own name. She has authored many erotic novels and short stories, and has also edited several collections of erotic literature.
She began working as a screenwriter in the mid-1990s. She worked as a script coordinator on The Magnificent Mademoiselles, which marked a turning point in her career. Her first successful screenwriting project was Good Time Gals, which aired from 1997 to 2000. She has since worked on many nénédie series, and has been a writer for video games like Dragon's Crown (2013).
She is also a sex columnist, having published columns in various publications, both Gylian and foreign.
Style
Tasa's work has been critically and commercially successful for its joyous tone and treatment of sexuality. Her writing emphasises humour, witty dialogue, strong characterisation, and portrayal of happy couples, relationships, and sex scenes.
L'Petit Écho described Tasa's works as "jolly, sweet, safe, and pleasantly lascivious", and that they are generally set in "quietly Elysian settings populated by characters whose hedonism has brought them enlightenment and made them serene, happy, and capable of meeting any challenge with a smile."
Radix similarly highlighted what it saw as utopian socialist themes in Tasa's oeuvre, namely worlds "built on automation, pleasure, and reciprocity", and "characters whose love of pleasure unfolds into rich inner lives and strength of character and skill".

Tasa tends to keep a low profile, and jokingly described herself in an interview as "quite boring, really — just your average sex-obsessed housewife".
Private life
Tasa married Reo Tiniş, a fellow writer and screenwriter, in 1987. They have two sons, and have frequently collaborated on written works and scripts.
