The Third Chinese Civil War (Chinese: 第三次國共内戰), also known as the War of Reunification, was fought between the Kuomintang-led government of the Republic of China and forces of the Chinese Communist Party, with armed conflict continuing from 1 October 1962 until 29 November 1965, and ending with Nationalist control of mainland China.
