Who is Sauromaces? is a question that concerns the identity of the Akannus Mts’ignobari that has been extant in Akannite Historiography. Sauromaces is considered one of the greatest writers and the pinnacle of Akannus History, as well as one of the first mathematicians in Akannus History. However the validity of biographies that concerned Sauromaces have been held as questionable, as Sauromaces as a person is accepted to have not existed. The lifespan of Sauromaces easily outpaced his peer Syraxia and his writings go farther than the Saulican Accounts. Sauromaces earliest account dates back to the Constructionist Era in 4,000 B.S.O. and end around the Era of the Codex in 3,000 B.S.O. which is a lifespan theorized to be over a millennium.
