Ómassa people are an Imperial Tribe native to the Imperial West and are a constituent tribe within the Veszprémic family of tribes. The Ómassans are closely related in culture and linguistics to the tribes of the Balaton, Keszthely, Belváros, Avas, and Szirma. Ómassa culture has more similarities to Belváros, Avas and Szirma culture with much more disparate differences with the Balaton and Keszthely people. Ómassans originated from the Proto-Imperial Era as subjugated people under the Balaton Empire. Ómassans, alongside the Belváros, Avas and Szirman are the traditional believers of the ethnic religion of Matyóism. This has led to the four tribes often being called Matyóics and considered as their own cultural group.
