Dr. Đỗ Sáng Khang, NHK (25 May 1977) is a Quenminese computer scientist and economist recognized for being the creator of Junocoin.

Early Life

Khang was born to Đỗ Nam Tú, an rocket scientist in NACOSDI, and Lý Kim Ngân, a restauranteur. He became attracted to rocket science after being inspired by his father's works, however, he was unable to pursue the endeavour when his father was laid off, and his mother divorced him after much arguments about moving north; he was eight years old when the divorce was official. He subsequently moved with his father to Bãi Biển Ngao in order to obtain a job in professorship at the Bãi Biển Ngao University of Technology.

Khang then attended the Lục Phúc Thuyết Primary School after settling in. He then exemplified his growing talents in mathematics and economics, to which his father encouraged him to pursue. In his secondary education, he attended the Nguyễn Huy Tuấn High School after passing the Higher Secondary Education Exam with high marks when he was 13. In his interview with Điện Kinh, he described it as the "most intriguing educational phase of his life in which he strove to learn more on his own, therefore becoming more productive in my life," disregarding at times the conventional education system.

He then spent his tertiary education at Đặng Quốc Toản University where he initially was heading for a Bachelor's in Economics only. During his second year, Khang's curiosity led him to attend a computer science class where C was taught. In the same interview, Khang stated that it was "a exciting class to take," and that it had "opened his mind to new possibilities about technology and economics altogether." He then graduated with a B.Sc. for Computer Science and a B.Oec.

Career

Khang first obtained a job as a Quantitative Researcher and Analyst for Quan Mach's Corporate and Investment Banking Division. He held the position for seven years, and was eventually promoted to Quantitative Analytics Senior Associate.

Academic

After his resignation from Quan Mach due to the Junocoin ownership rights trial, Khang went on to pursue a double doctorate at the Kontin Institute of Technology in 2012. There, he produced two theses: Blockchain Scrutiny: A Research on Its Efficiency and Challenges for the Informatics field, and Effects of Decentralized Planning with Applications of the Past towards the Present for the Economics field. He was awarded the doctorates in 2019.

He continues to teach at the Institute as a professor in economics and computer science, and has organized a class that introduces students to blockchain technology.

Philanthropy

  • Donation of $45.21 million worth of Junocoin to the Mint Relief organization for the assistance of the war refugees affected by the Nalayan Civil War, and in apology for the use of Junocoin for black market sales.
