Žedan III was the Emperor of Razaria and Custodian of the Banner of Pravoljub from 1977 to his death in 2006. He was the 2nd emperor of the Radasevid dynasty. Initially largely a ceremonial figurehead like his predecessor and uncle Vestislav of Razaria, after the Winter Solstice Crisis Žedan took great interest in intervention in politics, making full use of his powers in directing Razaria throughout its rise to regional power status in the 1980s and economic reforms. He led the nation through the devastating Storm War; although Razaria emerged victorious, the human suffering and economic damage incurred during the nuclear conflict plunged him into a depression. He largely resigned from governance after 2000. Upon his death, Žedan IV was elected by the Throne Guardianship Council, succeeding him.
