The 10th Artillery Division (1re Ժ-րդ հրետանի բրիգադ) is a Howitzer Heavy Artillery division apart of the Surban Defence Army and was the last division raised by the Desla-Ahneranaian Authority of Terok. During the early months of 1995, the Desla-Ahneranian Authority of Terolk had agreed on raising a number of divisions made up of Surban personnel, in an attempt to try sway Surbans onto the side of Desla-Ahnerania. While initially unsuccessful, the raising of the final 10th Artillery Division was special as it was created on Surb Zurab's Day, allowing recruiters into tricking druken men into enlisting into the 10th Artillery Division. The Division was kept deployed during the First Nevolje, patrolling the Southern Districts. During three separate deployments, the Division racked up 13 losses, with another 21 seriously injured.

The 10th Artillery were also crucial in the success of the Third of the Third Uprising, thus the creation of the Surban Republic, as their Howitzers prevented the Confederation Guardsmen from moving towards the Parliament Building due to the heavy bombardment of the barracks. The Division was then sent to the Halden Defences where they defended the trenches from the frontal charge of the Desla-Ahneranian forces. Following this, they were quickly rushed towards the North near Groz in preparation for Operation 'Lightning Strike'. It was here they gained their Hero Unit Award. During the middle phase of the battle, the Desla-Ahneranian forces had managed to push the Surban forces back and were able to fire upon the artillery pieces. Under heavy fire, the 10th Division continued to fire off explosive shells at Desla-Ahneranian positions. Even when fighting off a bayonet charge, they continued to fire the D-3 Howitzer. Their constant rate of fire enabled Surban Forces to advance into the city and eventually take it.

With being the first unit to be awarded the Hero Unit Award, they embroided it onto the Division Banner (In the Surban Military, Infantry and Armour wear insignia on their shoulders, while Artillery have a Banner) and earned the Right to a Motto. They chose 'With Distinction' to show the distinct place the Division now held in the Surban military.
