The first ever Legislative Elections were held in the Svozgardan protectorate of Kyotakavia on the 1st January 1800 to elect all 185 representatives of the Kyotakavian Assembly, as well as all 30 of the 30 State Ministers in the Kyotakavian State Ministerial Council, this being the first time that such an election was held where all 30 were up at the same time. Kyotakavian Representatives are elected from 50 First Past the Post Constituencies, 110 Proportional Seats and 25 Svozgardan reserved seats whilst State Ministers are elected through an STV election in the state. To qualify for Proportional Seats, a party must reach 3.00% of the vote.

The election saw the a landslide victory for the newly formed NLP who took just over half the seats (despite winning a supermajority of the vote) but could be confident in support from the Farmers' Coalition in order to be certain of a stable government. The King's Party were secured an effective veto on constitutional matters thanks to their 25 reserved seats and would remain a thorn in the side of the government for the duration of the term.
