189 Days of Spring

189 Days of Spring is a semi-fictional Songhua novel, set during the 6-6 Crisis, written in 1993 by the famous author Zhong Shaoqi. Its title comes from the number of days between the June 6th Uprising and the December 12th Restoration, but the book actually begins shortly before the beginning of the 6-6 Crisis and follows the crisis to its conclusion after the January 9th Incident. It is considered a modern masterpiece of Songhua and world literature.

Plot

The book follows a number of characters across Songguo, including in Dongjing, Tianjing, Hanjin, Haixingwai, Tianzhuangzhen, and Baishadao.
