The 1988 Lœjka crisis, also known as the Lœjka conflict or the 1988 Vœyetska crisis, was a short crisis in the year of 1988 characterized by a period of military build-up between Vœyetska and Sateroc, after the self proclaimed Socialist Republic of Lœjka declared independence from Vœyetska following the 1988 Lœjka coup d'etat, in which pro-Saterocian military officers led a coup against the local government of Lœjka under Vœyetskan control. As both sides threatened war, with Vœyetska threatening to invade Lœjka and Sateroc threatening to heavily intervene in case a Vœjetskan invasion took place, there was a period of heavy tensions between both sides. However, in the end, the crisis came to a sudden end as Vœyetska and Lœjka agreed to settle the conflict separately, and Vœyetska was left with a hefty amount of Saterocian weapons given to Lœjka during the crisis.
