The 1996 Polarussian Revolution was a series of strikes, civil disobedience, and direct military action that led to the Independence of Polarus. Inspired by the centennial anniversary of the 1896 Polarussian Uprising, Polarussian activists across the country challenged the rule of the Empire of Exponent. This revolution was a critical component in the eventual collapse of Exponent and the creation of not just Polarus, but the Blackhelm Confederacy and the Red River Free State as well.
