1st Cavalry Regiment (Blackhelm Confederacy)
The 1st Cavalry Regiment is a cavalry regiment of the Blackhelm Confederate Army, which operates in support of the 1st Infantry Division of the Blackhelm Confederacy. The unit is organized around four cavalry squadrons, which are designed to provide armored reconnaissance and exploit breakthroughs on a combined arms battlespace.
History
The 1st Cavalry Regiment traces its origins back to the unit of a similar name in the Empire of Exponent, which served extensively both on foreign campaigns as well as during the Hesperidesian Revolutions.
During the formation of the Blackhelm Confederacy in 1997, the 1st Cavalry Regiment was reformed at attached to the larger 1st Infantry Division, with which it took part in the reclamation of Ravetta and Sudanette, as well as the invasion of Egypttiansstan.
