The 1st Fighter Wing (Merovingian: 1er escadre de chasse, 1EC) is a Sieuxerrian Air Force expeditionary fighter wing assigned to Central Air Command. It is stationed at Houtteville Air Base. The 1st Fighter Wing is one of the oldest fighter wings in the world, as well as being one of the longest continuously operating fighter wings.
In the modern day, the 1st Fighter Wing is the Sieuxerrian Air Force's primary rapid deployable fighter wing. Its mission is to deploy a fighter squadron anywhere in the world and have it prepared for combat operations within 36 hours. It is completely self-contained with organic AWACS and tanker/transport aircraft along with additional support units for ground operations.
