Incidents

First Attack And Shooting

When the projected clock on the Espoona Tower stroked 12 midnight, multiple bombs went off in the city. Originally, many people mistook them for fireworks and continued the celebration. However, several people saw explosions and called the authorities. The bombs killed 21 people. However, just after the explosions were heard, several men in hoods flooded the scene armed with guns and one man, known as Johnny Ganren, ran across the stage and shot the current president, Justin Chan at point blank range. Chaos ensued, many people attempted to tackle the killer and high-level security, riot police and SWAT teams arrived quickly on the scene. The killer was taken into custody and ordered to be put to death for his crimes by the Espoonian Parliament. The other men in hoods, whilst they did not visibly kill anyone, were still threatening and ordered to each serve a life sentence in prison.

Second Attack

The time was then 1pm and thousands of armed police had flooded the scene. Then, without warning, another bomb went off, injuring another 13 people. When Johnny Ganren was questioned after the events, it was revealed that he was the one who had planted the time-controlled bomb.
